Black Balloon Day - Overdose Awareness

Today, we released black balloons, not only as a symbol of loss but also as a declaration that we will not allow addiction to take more of our brothers and sisters, parents, children, and friends. Too many lives have been prematurely ended. Too many families have faced an empty seat at the table, a call that never arrives, a heartbreak that never heals. Addiction knows no boundaries. We do not stand here powerless. We stand as warriors, as advocates, as voices for those who can no longer speak. We fight for change, for awareness, for resources, and for a world where no family has to endure this pain. To those battling addiction: you are not alone. To those in recovery: We are proud of you. Keep fighting. To those grieving: Your loved one is not forgotten. We will not be silent. We will not give up. We will not let this fight be in vain.
