This morning at 9 AM, Henry, Matty, Eddy, and Davy came to the house to make sandwiches and get ready for the day's trip. They prepared over 100 sandwiches and packed 120 bags of snacks and chocolate. Additionally, they organized eight bags of clothing. Today, we had three volunteers. Julia and Akira prepared sandwiches and handed out clothing and food on Mass Avenue, where Jeff Lane joined us. We handed out 75 winter hats, 125 pairs of gloves, 100 pairs of socks, 25 women's underwear, 50 scarves, 150 hand warmers, 25 jackets/sweatshirts, and rain/snow ponchos. We now possess a double-deck pull wagon for our outreach initiative. A big thank you to John Cox for assisting us in acquiring this wagon. We can now deliver food and clothing to people wherever they are, even if they are unable to walk. Today, six volunteers participated in outreach work. Three volunteers, John, Henry, and Berk, distributed over 80 sandwiches and bottles of water. They interacted with more than 60 people. Additionally, they handed out 60 pairs of gloves, hand warmers, socks, underwear, scarves, and hats near Mass and Cass. We realized today the need to have more women's clothing items available. The Universal Church kindly allowed us to use their parking lot.

Starting 2025 on Mass Ave
Today, we had two volunteers, Jeff Lane and Mark Houy. 125 sandwiches and waters were distributed, along with jackets and winter clothes. Two people were referred to treatment. Berk met with a group called the Backpack Project. The Backpack Project is a group that raises funds to buy and distribute backpacks and basic necessities in the Mass Ave area every two months.
